Terms of Service

By accessing or using AskProperty (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

AskProperty provides an AI-powered chat widget that you can embed on your website. The widget uses your uploaded content (FAQs, documents, scraped web pages) to answer visitor questions and capture leads. The Service is provided by AskProperty (“we”, “us”, “our”).

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@askproperty.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with up to 200 conversations. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, the Service will pause until you subscribe to a paid plan.

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices are listed in USD. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge the applicable subscription fee each month. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period with no refund for unused time.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Transmit spam, misleading content, or harmful material
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent any security measure
• Use the Service to train a competing AI product
• Impersonate any person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service (FAQs, documents, website content). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process and store it solely for the purpose of operating the Service on your behalf. We do not sell or share your content with third parties.

The Service uses Google Gemini to generate responses. While we take reasonable steps to ground responses in your uploaded content, AI can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing the accuracy of your widget’s responses. We are not liable for any inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading responses delivered to your website visitors.

When a visitor uses your widget, their messages and any contact information they provide (name, email, phone) are stored and associated with your account. You are the data controller for this visitor data. We process it as your data processor in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (cloud infrastructure, AI providers), or events outside our control may cause temporary disruptions. We will communicate planned downtime in advance where possible.

The AskProperty brand, software, and platform are owned by us. These terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond using the Service as described. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AskProperty’s total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You may close your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or illegal activity, with or without notice depending on severity.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AskProperty is incorporated. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of that jurisdiction.
